INTIMACY with God's Heart

 

"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ Mark 12:30. The greatest privilege we have as children of God is to be loved by Him and to return His love wholeheartedly. All true life and fruitfulness comes from the place of intimacy with God.  

INVOLVEMENT with God's Mission 

 

"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden." Matt. 5:14. Birmingham's destiny is to shine with bright righteousness for the world to see Jesus and His Kingdom.  City-wide, corporate prayer and worship shifts our man centered culture toward the justice and righteousness God longs to bring through Spirit directed mission.  

 

READINESS for God's Son 

 

"At midnight the cry rang out: Here's the Bridegroom! Come out to meet Him!" Matt 25:6. Jesus commanded His people to watch and pray and to be ready for the Bridegroom when He comes. Night and day prayer keeps the oil of God's Spirit flowing into the hearts of His people to follow His leadership now and be prepared for His leadership when He returns.
